I have decided to accept a challenge from my mother and sister. After sorting through my makeup I discovered I have 570 different colors of eyeshadow. This does not seem like a lot compared to some of the gurus I watch but you have to remember I am not a professional makeup artist AND I tend to only use about ten different colors. My mother and sister have challenged me to use every color of eyeshadow within the next four months. The colors I do not use I have to give away (I know three people who would gladly take them off my hands LOL). I will post pictures of the different looks I come up with along with the colors and brands I will use to create the looks.
Wish me luck in completing this challenge. Even though I do not use them all I really do like all my colors. I look forward to this challenge.

Nail Art :)
I have seen so many tutorials and looks for the water marbling nail art. I have been attempting to create this look for about 2 months now with no success. I was so frustrated I almost gave up but today I finally got it!
There are few things to keep in mind when attempting water marbling...
For this look I just used the two polishes for the marbling itself. The colors I used are Soul Mate and Zincing of You, both from SinfulColors
For the second look I used NYC's Park Avenue as a base color with Soul Mate and Zincing of You by Sinful Colors for the marbling.
I found by adding the base color the marbling effect was more visible. Now that I have figured out the correct way to do this I really enjoy and I am looking forward to doing many more looks with brighter colors.
There are few things to keep in mind when attempting water marbling...
- Use room temperature filter water (tap water just did not work for me)
- Work quickly or the nail polish will dry before you can draw your design
- Do not use quick drying nail polish
- Don't give up...practice practice practice

About Me
I love makeup and all things makeup. I can spend all day watching makeup tutorials, shopping for makeup and doing makeup on myself and friends and family. Makeup can be used to accentuate a persons natural beauty and bring out a persons favorite features. I know when I am feeling blah I throw on some purple or copper eyeshadow and some mascara and I instantly feel better.
My favorite products I am currently using are:
